Our program is designed to take into account each child’s social and emotional needs, as well as his or her academic and physical development. Our academic curriculum consists of language, math, practical life, sensorial, geography, culture and Spanish.
Our carefully prepared environment and qualified staff allows children to develop self-confidence and independence, inspiring self-disciplined and enthusiastic learners. Each classroom contains a wide variety of materials that attract the child’s interest in all areas. Our outdoor classroom and playground was designed with children and nature in mind. Our natural playground has trees, logs, slides, gardens and climbing rocks.
Our classrooms use concrete materials that are self-correcting, allowing children to learn and grow at their own pace. Our classrooms invite children to freely explore using all of their senses.
Children work in an environment that is designed to fit their specific needs.
Children are encourage to work at their own pace, thus the role of the teacher is to facilitate learning at an individual pace and encourage the trial of new experiences to challenge the learner.
Materials are taught either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
Teachers carefully observe each child’s development and provide new materials when developmentally ready.
We always encourage children to challenge themselves and try new things.
Children are encouraged to be responsible for themselves and their environment. We foster a home-like environment where each classroom works together as a community to keep the classroom clean and in working order.

From age 18 months – 3 years, children are actively searching for knowledge about their environment. They are especially interested in asserting their independence. Independence is a large part of our toddler classroom—and is encouraged by allowing the child to choose a variety of activities that he or she can accomplish with success. With love and guidance, our program allows these children to explore and gain the independence they seek through a variety of age-appropriate activities.
At ages 3-6, children have more control and coordination over their mind and body and continue to become more independent. Our primary classrooms are designed to meet the ever-changing needs of the 3-6 year old class. Creating order is an important role in this environment, which is designed to encourage curiosity and a love for learning.
With Montessori principles as our guide, each child has the opportunity to:

- Encourage independent decision making and problem solving skills
- Develop positive social, emotional and physical growth in a respectful environment
A typical day in the primary classroom consists of children learning how to manage their time, and explore and share new ideas with other classmates. Students spend their morning maneuvering through the classroom, exploring works in areas such as geography, math, language and science. They are also engaged in daily living activities, including preparing snacks, caring for plants, learning to tie their shoes and – most importantly – learning to respect each other and their environment. Each day also involves outside free play. At our preschool, children grow to love learning and discover their interests and abilities through stimulating and engaging activities.
